Thursday 21st September 2017 saw three local Hampshire businesses; Complete Vehicle Management, Reavey Electrical and Pandey & Co. host their annual golf event, this year held at the Boundary Lakes Golf course at the Hilton Ageas Southampton.
36 guests attended the event and competed for five highly coveted prizes; Longest drive on the 8th hole, Nearest pin on the 18th hole, Best overall individual, Best team four ball and overall Championship winner.
9 teams set out from 9:02am on the recently opened Boundary Lake 18 hole golf course and despite the rain later in the morning had a fantastic time traversing the course.
The prize presentation was held in Ian Botham’s Beefy’s restaurant in the afternoon and the winners were as follows:
Longest drive on the 8th hole
Dave Beasant of Team CVM who won 12 golf balls and a golfing umbrella
Nearest pin on the 18th hole
Paul Davies of Team CVM who won 12 golf balls and a golfing umbrella
Tony Wheat of Team Pandey & Co. who won 12 golf balls and a golfing wedge
Shaun Reavey, Mike Palmer and Keith Snelling of Team Reavey Electrical who won a golf club bag each
Overall Championship Cup Winners
It was a very close call, but by two points the three CVM teams combined points managed to score them the Championship Cup for the third year running.
On the win, Kevin Connor Commercial Director of Complete Vehicle Management commented “We are delighted to take the championship cup home for the third year running. Everyone had a fantastic day and I would like to personally thank all of our guests for making it such a good day.”
The CVM Team looks forward to the next golf event in 2018 and hope to win the Championship Cup for the fourth year running.
